Question 1: What is the difference between the Quik-Info.com and the Quik-Homes.com websites?
Answer:

www.Quik-Info.com  is our Online Business Directory that displays local businesses along with their street address and telephone number. This directory also has links to numerous business websites and email addresses.  Quik-Info.com also supplies other information for the local communities, including shopping links, weather and news reports and much more! 

Quik-Homes.com is our premium online "Real Estate" classifieds website.  This website enables the local real estate agents to promote and display their home listings at very affordable rates.

Question 2: Is www.Quik-Homes.com better than the other real estate listing service companies?
Answer:

Quik-Homes.com isn't necessarily better than any other real estate listing service.  What makes Quik-Homes.com so beneficial is that it has been developed "primarily" for the southern Ohio communities and not the entire USA.

We at Quik-Homes.com believe that it is always more favorable to have your home listings posted to as many Real Estate websites that is economically possible for your business.  This opens more possibilities for increase sales.

Question 4: Is it necessary for us to have our own website or web page?
Answer:

No, it's not necessary to have your own website, but having a web presence does have some business advantages.  An online website or at lease a single web page that displays your business info, street address, email address and phone number, etc. can be a great help for those website visitors that are browsing the real estate listings.  These perspective customers may want to know more about your company and possibly how to contact you for additional information.  This business web page provides this information and gives your company a professional look.

Question 5: If my business doesn't have a website or web page on the WWW, what will it cost for Quik-Info.com to create a web page for me and have it available for website visitors to view?
Answer:

Currently we have a "Special Offer" and will create a business web page at no cost to you when you subscribe to one of our Business Plans (Deluxe, Coupon, Dealer or Real Estate).

The cost to have this business web page displayed and linked on Quik-Info.com and available on the World-Wide-Web is just $24.00 to $36.00 a year, depending upon which Quik-Info Business Plan you select.   Website visitors will be able to view your business information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Yes, the $24 to $36 a year is correct!  You can have your business web page online for less than a dime day!

Question 6: If we already have a website of our own on another company's server, what will it cost to have a link to it from the Quik-Info.com Online Business Directory website?
Answer:

The fee to have your existing website linked from your primary business category listing in the Quik-Info.com website is just $6.00 per year.

You may also want multiple business category listings and links.  Each additional category listing for your business is $6.00 per year and can include a link to your existing website.  Check out our "Package Plans" deals for even greater savings!

Question 7: Do we have to sign up for your $24.00 per year Real Estate Business Plan and have a business web page created before we can list our homes on www.Quik-Homes.com?
Answer: No.  We are not requiring real estate companies to subscribe to our Real Estate Business Plan or our Link Plan before they are permitted to post/list their home listings on Quik-Homes.com.  You can just contact us stating that you want to "Activate" an account and we will get you started.

Basically to get started, (activate an account), all you have to do is contact us that you want to list your homes on the Quik-Homes.com Classifieds and then fill out the "Account Set-up" form.  This way we will have the correct information so we can "flag" the billing notifications that should be credited back to your account during your "Start-Up/Activation" period.

Answer:

No.  We are not requiring real estate companies, even those that have existing websites, to subscribe to our Real Estate Business Plan or our Link Plan before they are permitted to post/list their home listings on Quik-Homes.com.  Just contact us stating that you want to "Activate" an account and we will get you started.

Basically to get started, (activate an account), all you have to do is contact us that you want to list your homes on the Quik-Homes.com Classifieds and then fill out the "Account Set-up" form.  This way we will have the correct information so we can "flag" the billing notifications that should be credited back to your account during your "Start-Up/Activation" period.

Question 9: You say that all the "initial" home listings are posted/uploaded for free when we "Start-up/Activate" our account.  What does this really mean?
Answer:

This simply means that all the real estate listings you have contracts on when your account with us is started (Activated) can be posted and uploaded to Quik-Homes.com at no cost.

Please note that the Quik-Homes.com "Classifieds Program" will automatically bill you $5.00 for each Home Ad posted when you enter a new Ad, even these "initial/start-up" listings.  This auto billing function cannot be by-passed since it is a built-in feature of our classifieds program.

We will manually credit your account $5.00 for each of these "initial" start-up Home Ad listings that you get billed for (we also receive a copy of all your billing notifications).

Question 10: How am I invoiced for my "new" home ads that I post/upload to the Quik-Homes.com website after my "start-up/activation" period is over?
Answer:

The Quik-Homes.com "Classifieds Program" will automatically bill you $5.00 for each new home ad you upload/post by automatically sending you an email message (billing notification) to the email address that you have listed in your Account Profile.

You should print and retain a copy of these billing notifications/invoices for later verification.  Our procedure is to examine and group these individual billing notifications/invoices from your posting/uploads throughout the month (we also receive a copy of your invoice via email).

At the end of each month we will send you a Monthly Statement reflecting all the "new" ads that you posted/uploaded that month.  You should then verify your "billing notifications/invoices" against our Monthly Statement.  If you discover any inaccuracies you should contact us.

Question 11: Do I need to have a ".com" (Domain Name) for my business before using Quik-Info.com or Quik-Homes.com?
Answer:

While having a ".com" has it's marketing advantages, it's not necessary for you to have a domain name before using Quik-Homes.com or the Quik-Info Online Business Directory websites.

Please note that currently for just $12.00 per year, Quik-Info can acquire a Domain Name (.com, .net) for your business.  This option is available to all of our Deluxe, Coupon, Dealer and Real Estate Business Plan subscribers.  Your domain name (.com, etc.) will be redirected to your Quik-Info web page(s).

Question 12: There appears to be a lot of data that gets entered into the computer for each "new" home listing ad.  Do you have a worksheet or something that will help us get the information grouped together for data inputting?
Answer:

Yes, we do have a worksheet that can be printed out.  You can find this worksheet in our Real Estate Client Support area.  After you print out a hardcopy of the worksheet you can then pencil in the information for the "new" home listing you have.

Having the information for the individual homes ready for data entry before you sit down at the computer to do the actual upload over the "internet" to the Quik-Homes.com website, will make it easier.

Question 13: Do I have to Register for an Account and get a Username and Password to view the ad listings?
Answer: No.  You don't need to Register to view any of the classified ads.  You only need to Register for an account if you want to "Place" an ad.

Question 14: What are the steps required in order to "post" and "upload" a home listing (create "Place" an Ad)?
Answer:
  1. Register for an account if you do not already have one.  It does not cost anything to get registered.  But, you must have a Username and Password before you can Log On to the program.  Please be sure to use your correct email address.  The classifieds program will automatically send you some important messages via the email address you provide.
  2. To place an ad in the Quik-Homes.com program, go into the classifieds program and "click" on the Place Ads link located in the menu bar.
  3. If you haven't Logged On to the program yet, it will ask you to do so.
  4. After you are finished Logging On you will be sent to the "Post a New Ad" screen.
  5. Fill out all the applicable Data Entry Fields.
  6. After you get everything typed in and you preview your ad and decide it's okay to post, go ahead and do so.  After you post the ad you will be able to upload your photos.
  7. You can upload up to 10 photos to your ad listing.  These photos cannot be larger than 300 pixels high by 500 pixels wide when you go to upload them.  The program will refuse them if they are larger than the 300 x 500 size and/or larger than 60,000 bytes.  The photos will be displayed on the Classified Ad as "thumbnails", but when they are "clicked" they enlarge to the 300 x 500 size.
  8. You should now be finished.  Remember that you can go back and "Edit" an AD that you have previously created at any time.

Question 15: Do I need to have a computer and Internet access to have my home listings on www.Quik-Homes.com?
Answer: No.  You don't need to have a computer or Internet access.  As long as you have access to a Fax Machine we can update the information for you.  Our Fax Number is Toll Free so you won't even incur any long distance charges.  Just use our REAL ESTATE LISTING "INPUT" WORKSHEET to fill out the home listing information (number of baths, bedrooms, price, etc.) and Fax the worksheet to us.  We'll post the home listing to the Quik-Homes.com website.  We'll have to decide what is the best method for displaying your home's pictures for each ad if you do not have computer or Internet access.
